1. PARTIES AND SCOPE
These Delivery, Withdrawal and Refund Terms (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") cover Legal AI Network Turkey ("LANT", "service provider") and the natural or legal person who purchases events, training programs, or digital services offered by LANT ("Participant").
These Terms have been prepared in accordance with Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers, the Distance Contracts Regulation (Official Gazette: 27.11.2014/29188), and the relevant secondary legislation. Completion of the purchase process indicates that the Participant has read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
2. SERVICES PROVIDED
The services provided by LANT and covered by these Terms are as follows:
Physical event participation ticket (in-person training, workshop, masterclass)
Online event participation ticket (live stream, webinar, digital training)
Full package ticket covering both formats (physical + online)
Digital certificate and session materials after the event
All services are digital and service-based; no physical product delivery is involved.
3. DELIVERY TERMS
3.1. Participation Confirmation and Ticket Delivery
After the payment process is successfully completed, a confirmation email containing participation confirmation and event details is sent to the email address provided during registration within no later than 24 (twenty-four) hours. If the confirmation email does not arrive, the Participant may immediately contact info@lanturkey.com.
3.2. Event Access Information
Physical event: Venue address and entry information are sent by email no later than 48 hours before the event date.
Online event: Live stream link and access information are sent by email no later than 24 hours before the event date.
If the email has not arrived for either format, the Participant must provide written notice to info@lanturkey.com.
3.3. Digital Content Delivery
The LANT-approved digital certificate is sent to the Participant's email address within 7 (seven) business days after completion of the program.
Session materials and additional content are shared digitally within 5 (five) business days from the event date.
The materials are made accessible via the digital platform determined by LANT or by email.
3.4. Delivery Responsibility
LANT exercises due care to ensure that the services are delivered to the Participant within the above-mentioned periods. LANT cannot be held responsible for delays arising from an incorrectly entered email address by the Participant or from technical issues caused by the email provider. In the event of delivery disputes, the burden of proof lies with LANT.
4. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Pursuant to Article 48 of Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation, the Participant has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 (fourteen) days from the formation of the contract without giving any reason and without paying any penalty.
4.1. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to Article 15 of the Distance Contracts Regulation, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in the following cases:
Contracts relating to events, training, or organizations to be performed on a specific date or during a specific period (Regulation art. 15/1-g): Since the event date is predetermined, this exception applies as a rule.
Contracts relating to intangible goods that are instantly performed electronically or instantly delivered to the consumer (Regulation art. 15/1-h): Once the digital material or certificate has been made accessible, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised.
In this context, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for purchases made 14 days or less before the event date. For purchases made more than 14 days before the event date, the Participant may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days from the date of purchase.
4.2. Exercising the Right of Withdrawal
The Participant who wishes to exercise the right of withdrawal shall notify LANT through one of the following channels:
Email: info@lanturkey.com (the subject line must include the phrase "Withdrawal Notice")
Written notice: registered mail with return receipt to info@lanturkey.com
The date on which the withdrawal notice reaches us is deemed the date on which the right of withdrawal is exercised. The notice must include the order number, Participant's full name, contact information, and event date.
LANT refunds all payments to the Participant within 14 (fourteen) days from the date the withdrawal notice reaches it and does not charge the Participant any fee in connection with the exercise of the right of withdrawal.
5. CANCELLATION AND REFUND TERMS
5.1. Participant-Initiated Cancellation
If the Participant decides not to attend the event, the following refund policy applies:
a) Cancellation made 14 days or more before the event date: The full ticket price is refunded to the Participant.
b) Cancellation made 7 to 13 days before the event date: 50% of the ticket price is refunded, and the remaining 50% is retained by LANT as a service fee.
c) Cancellation made less than 7 days before the event date: No refund will be made. However, the Participant may transfer the ticket to another participant for the same event. For a transfer, written notice must be provided to info@lanturkey.com at least 48 hours before the start of the event.
5.2. Refund Period and Method
Approved refund requests are processed through the payment method used by the Participant within 14 (fourteen) business days from the date of application. For payments made by credit card, the completion of the refund process may vary depending on the processing times of the card issuer; this period is outside LANT's responsibility.
No additional fee is charged to the Participant for the refund process.
5.3. Digital Content and Certificate
Once digital materials or the certificate have been delivered, no refund request may be made for these items. A ticket refund does not require the return of digital content.
6. EVENT CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT
LANT reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event due to force majeure, natural disasters, pandemic, decisions by official authorities, insufficient participation, or mandatory organizational reasons.
In case of cancellation: The full ticket price is refunded to the Participant. The Participant may not claim compensation from LANT for travel, accommodation, or similar expenses arising from third parties.
In case of postponement: The Participant is offered the option to attend on the new date or receive a full refund. The Participant must notify their choice to info@lanturkey.com within 7 (seven) days from the date of notification. If no choice is communicated within this period, a full refund will be issued.
7. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
Personal data collected during the purchase and refund process is processed under the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the relevant secondary legislation; it is protected in line with LANT's Privacy Policy. 8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND COMPETENT COURT
In disputes arising from these Terms, amicable settlement methods shall first be attempted between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, consumers within the meaning of the law retain the right to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees or Consumer Courts under Law No. 6502. For Participants who are not consumers, the Istanbul (Caglayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices are authorized.
9. CHANGES TO THE TERMS
LANT reserves the right to update these Terms without prior notice. The current Terms are always published on lanturkey.com. Completion of the purchase process means acceptance of the Terms in force. Purchases made under previous Terms shall continue to be governed by the Terms applicable on the date of the relevant purchase.
